Grace Robinson
Grace Robinson is a Naarm-based creative chameleon, often spotted wearing one of her many hats: performer hat (amongst many groups), booking agent hat, bass player hat but most commonly her obnoxious bogan hat. Best known as the powerhouse lead singer of electro-soul outfit Empress, she’s toured extensively and lit up major festival stages like Sun Cycle, Strawberry Fields, Meadow, and Beyond The Valley. She's now turning heads with her solo project: a deliciously unfiltered blend of indie rock, emotional oversharing, and dry wit, all wrapped around her signature mint-green Danelectro guitar and all-star band.
Her songs are part epic anthem, part open therapy session—drawing inspiration from the likes of Sharon Van Etten, Phoebe Bridgers, and Julia Jacklin. By the end of her set, you’ll likely know all about her therapy sessions, her mum, and why she still believes that if Collingwood made finals they would have had back-to-back premiership wins. With sold-out shows and festival stages already under her belt (Wonder Mountain, Brunswick Music Fest, and more), all eyes are on her upcoming debut release for late 2025.
